It can transmit an analog stereo signal up to 170 meters (555 feet), and TOSLINK or digital coax up to 290 meters. The transmitter has 1 x TOSLINK, 1 x COAX, and 1 x 3.5mm stereo input jacks. The receiver has 1 x TOSLINK, 1 x COAX, and 1 Stereo RCA outputs. The integrated switch lets you to manually select the desired audio input, allowing you to connect multiple sources and switch between them as needed.
