California Proposition 65 Warning
Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more that 850 chemicals. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.
• WARNING: Some cable, plastic, and metal products may contain chemicals known to the state of CA to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

Cat5E Ethernet Patch Cable Snagless in Gray, Shielded
350 MHz FTP Cords With Performance to Spare
When you're putting together a network, you can't just pick things like patch cables based on your needs as they exist today. Getting the network up and running is one thing. Making it easy to maintain and support that network over time is something else entirely, which is why the solutions you choose in terms of even something (seemingly) simple like patch cables could not be more critical to what you're doing.
When you need a solution that provides both the quality and the versatility necessary to guarantee the top performance in all of today's high speed networks, you need the Shielded Cat5E Patch Cable from FireFold whether you realize it or not. This 350 MHz FTP cord, available in lengths from 0.5 feet to 200 feet for you to choose from depending on your needs, come with a wide array of different features that make it the option to beat across the industry.
For starters, these cables feature a very unique kind of enhanced electrical performance - perfect for supporting the bandwidth intensive applications of today in a way that also prepares your network to help tackle the challenges of tomorrow. Network architects everywhere can also rejoice: these cables are also fully backwards compatible with any 10BaseT or 100BaseT network cards and hubs that you may already be using.
Likewise, these cables are constructed of no less than for totally foiled twisted pairs of 26 AWG stranded copper, complete with a rugged and ultra durable PVC jacket. The FTP wires themselves put you in an excellent position to both eliminate cross-talk and help boost signal quality, all while going a long way towards supporting traditional data transmission as well. Last but not least, our Shielded Cat5E Patch Cable also features RJ45 connectors with 50 micron gold plated contacts - an invaluable feature that helps to guard against corrosion, degradation and absolutely everything in between.
As is true with all patch cable purchases from FireFold, these Cat5E Shielded Ethernet Patch Cables come complete with our industry leading lifetime warranty and are backed by the full might of our incredible customer support team. Not only that but you can also enjoy same day shipping on most orders, fast and easy returns (in the unfortunate event that the need should arise) and much, much more.

What does shielding do?
Shielding protects signal degradation due to electro-magnetic interference.
What does SSTP mean?
Screened Shielded Twisted Pair, also referred to as Screened Foiled Twisted Pair (SFTP). It means there is a layer of foil wrapped around the wires that protects it from electro-magnetic interference.
Are these in wall rated?
Yes, these are CM rated which means they are suitable for in-wall installations.
Are these PoE rated?
Yes these are PoE rated.
Can I use these with unshielded jacks?
