What makes it so simple?

Besides the 110 termination that this network patch panel offers, there are 12 individual Cat5E ports on the front side. Once you get your cables terminated on the one side, you just plug and go on the other. This is a very quick and easy solution for being able to swap out devices at any time. Plus, with numbered ports, you can easily keep track of what is plugged in where for better organization.

What makes these so great?

Each patch bay is a high-density 1.75 inch by 19-inch panel. This product is 1U, with a U (unit) being the standard size for a single rack interval. While others are 2 and 3U, there will be no such waste of space here.

These network panels meet TIA/EIA-568B.2/568B.2-1 Cat.5E ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173-1 specifications, so they are up to the latest standards. UL certified, they have been also tested to the highest standard for safety.

SIMPLIFY COMPLEXITY.

Doing more with fewer parts the /dev/mount is durable, affordable and designed to last. Conventional cage nuts consist of many individual parts and are therefore difficult to handle and install. The /dev/mount requires zero assembly prior install and snaps securely in position. Only half the parts are required to mount any 1RU 19" equipment, compared to cage nuts.

Power strips are needed in any setup, it's just a fact of life. This particular necessity will work great for a networking setup, telecommunications installation, or as part of a terminal. It can be configured to a 19" rack and takes up only 1U (unit). There are 10 outlets with 2 in the front and 8 in the back for accessibility and a 15 Amp circuit breaker as a precaution to overload or short circuiting.

19" racks are essentially the standard size that most racks come in, and since this rack is 19" itself, there is no surprise that it is configurable to a rack. It takes up only 1U on a rack so your monster server or patch panel can take up 5. Take your rack with you by having a power strip available when you need it.

Certain cords aren't going to be removed very often; we're talking about power cords to the servers, monitors, patch panels, etc. Not only don't you want to remove them, but you likely don't want to see them, and so that is why there are outlets in the back; there are also outlets in the front. These front outlets allow you to quickly plug in a device (such as a diagnostic tool) to be used immediately where it is needed and then put it away. While simply having a power strip on a rack will allow you to do this, if all of the outlets were on the back it would be inconsiderate on the part of the designers to make you go back there and sift through cables and such.

These devices are made to take on some excess voltage that may overload, short circuit, or otherwise damage the system via an overcurrent. The nice part of a circuit breaker is that once it has done its job you can simply reset the switch and it will serve you again.

Kendall Howard Patch Panel Brackets make mounting patch panels or shallow equipment simple and easy. When there is no need for a wallmount rack or cabinet, Patch Panel Brackets are a great low cost alternative. The hinged design delivers the functionality of a swing-out wallmount rack without the added cost.

Simply mount the patch panel to the hinged side of the bracket, swing it open and terminate all of the cable. Then use the cable bumps and 6” depth to manage all the cables. When finished, close the bracket and screw the patch panel to the other side.
