The Platinum Tools 100061C EXO™ Crimp Frame with EXO-EX Die™ features an interchangeable and reversible die set and push lock button for easy storage. Part of the ezEX-RJ45 termination system, the 100061C helps maneuver the challenges of ever-increasing cable and insulation diameters which may vary by manufacturer. It's designed for use with ezEX™44 and 48 connectors. The unique design of these connectors accommodates larger cable diameters, as well as makes sequence verification easier through the one-piece pass-through body. This crimp frame allows quick, secure termination and flush trim with a single cycle. The reversible EXO die enables ambidextrous operation with ergonomic TPR handles for comfort.

Platinum Tools EZ-RJPRO HD Crimp Tool

The EZ-RJPRO HD Crimp Tool is designed for the professional installer providing a ratcheted, high leverage, ultra-stable platform for consistent, repeatable terminations. This heavy-duty tool is the perfect solution when working with high-performance, larger OD cables that are tougher to terminate due to larger wire gauges, thicker, harder insulation on the conductors, and pair separating splines. Not only will you overcome these connectivity obstacles but you can be assured that every termination will meet FCC specifications. Compatible with all EZ-RJ45® and EZ-RJ12/11 connectors as well as all standard modular plugs, except AMP.

Applications

The EZ-RJPRO HD Crimp Tool uses the EZRJ45 patented 'crimp & trim' system and is designed to handle larger dimensional size cables. EZ-RJ45 CAT 5E connectors / EZ-RJ45 Shielded CAT 5E connectors / EZ-RJ45 CAT 6+ connectors / EZ-RJ45 Shielded CAT 6 connectors / EZ-RJ12/11 connectors / Compatible with all other RJ45, RJ12 and RJ11 modular plug connectors except AMP.

This EZ-RJ45 termination kit gives installers the ability to easily terminate Category 3, 5 and 5e cabling. This kit comes with the popular EZ-RJ45 Crimp Tool (P/N 100004) and 50 pieces of the EZ-RJ45® CAT5/5e Connectors. This pass through style connector simplifies twisted pair terminations by allowing the wires to be inserted through the connector and out the front. This allows the technician to easily verify the proper wiring order. Electrical performance of the termination is optimized by pulling the connector down over the cable jacket and seating it tightly in the rear of the connector.
