The latest HDMI release touted support for up to 4Kx2K resolution, but up until now, options for this technology have been mostly limited to projectors. The technology was launched at the 2013 International CES and is on the rise. The 2014 CES will finally give us a glimpse into how we can bring those 8 million pixels of resolution right into our living rooms. Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Toshiba, Sharp and Hisense will all be featuring their own advancements in Ultra High-Definition displays at the upcoming trade show. Time to break out those shiny HDMI cables and use them to their fullest potential! Now, here at FireFold, we all know that our CEO's love of Vegas ensures we will have a representative at CES to sample this fancy Ultra HD technology along with some sweet 3D displays and all the other goodies they have to offer. We'll keep you posted in January with his findings.
